IN-GATE GALLERY presents the group exhibition Coordinate Systems, bringing together the works by Alexandra Dementieva (tapestries and augmented reality), Dmitry Bulnygin (iron and ceramic sculptures) and Konstantin Totibadze (oil paintings). Although very diverse, their approaches here have a common trait of placing everyday objects at the centre of their reflection. By using different know-how and technologies, the artists evoke antique Greece, ancient Japan, or our solar system. Between adapted totems, carpets carrying messages and offbeat still-lives, these fragments of the worlds communicate the coordinates that are specific to each artistic universe.
